After a long day of travel, I craved a pasta dish that inspire a good nap. I ordered the fettuccine bolognese with low expectations. Well, I was wrong: the noodles were *chef’s kiss*. So good!
Purchased a day pass. The large dog run has plenty of space, is clean and well-maintained, and has shaded areas. Love the attached restaurant/bar that comes with leash hooks and cooling dog beds.
I was skeptical about getting wings… how good could they be? Really, really good! The wings have a lot of meat, to the point that I could only eat a few before I was stuffed. Definitely worth a stop!
Had a half portion of the hot turkey sandwich. It arrived quickly and hit the spot, especially on a cold, blustery day. Great service as well!
Super reasonable dinner special prices that get you plenty of food: soup, rice, a main dish and an egg roll. Quick service, hot food.
A small and also welcoming off-leash dog run. When your pup gets tired of playing, the surrounding grounds make for a good (leashed!) walk.
The grilled seafood plate with polenta was yummy. Friendly service and great ambience to boot. Worth the visit!
One of my absolute favorite dog-friendly hotels. Close proximity to the beach, friendly service, and depending on when you go, there could be free tastings, etc. A great, simple place to unwind.
Beautifully appointed room. The hotel is centrally located which is super convenient. I especially loved the heated floor tiles in the bathroom - nice touch!
Great location and well appointed rooms, some of which have waterfront views. Take a stroll down to the ferry marketplace building that’s only a short walk away.
OMG. If you love cheese, this is your place. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Then be tempted by all the cheese offerings in the shop next door.
Loved getting away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Tip: the hot sauce is homemade and worth it. I had some with the potato latkes and wound up buying a bottle. So yummy.
The lunch sushi and sashimi bento box was outstanding. The tempura was some of the best I’ve ever had, and the fish was so fresh. Friendly, attentive service to boot. A+

Had the salmon (from Bay of Fundy) and steak lunch duo, off menu. Absolutely tasty. I didn’t want to feel too stuffed. This delicious duo fit the bill.
Recommended appetizers: the ricotta toast with pears, and the prosciutto and mozzarella. The cheeses are so fresh!
What a gorgeous view. Potentially not a great experience if you’re afraid of heights. For the rest of us: do it! It’s breathtaking to stand amongst the mountains.
