    "I stay here whenever I'm in Exeter. Jackie and Michael always treat their guests so well. Fairly convenient to the High Street. The front rooms can be noisy due to traffic but it calms down at night."

    "Definitely NOT a "gastropub". Menu was typical pub fare and what we ordered was good but nothing special. Beer selection was mediocre and the Guinness tasted a bit off. Service was excellent, though."
