Amazingly beautiful place to hike and explore the lakes and old mining sites. Road is a bit hair-raising but worth it for the view, the cows, and the snow in summer.

Yes it’s a tourist trap, but there’s not a reason to stay away. Spend the night so you have a more quite Mont, and be sure to walk around to the backside for an unbelievable sunset of your dreams.
Ancient little monastery that is hidden up in the hills and extremely peaceful. Great to take the bus up and then walk back down to visit Yuso.
Great winery tour that takes you out into the vines to really understand the terroir, very low key and very friendly visit.
Yes it’s a giant producer, but it’s a great tour of a winery steeped in history and tradition. A must do when in Rioja.

Amazing museum - allow at least half a day to immerse yourself in the recent turbulent history of Spain via many different artistic movements. Guernica and La Movida are obvious highlights.
