Small but decent selection of cheese and a nice opportunity to pick up wine along with it from Miller - the Mourvèdre is decent.

Beautiful old theater in downtown - pretty great programming especially in summer.
Good coffee joint onState street although the one on Anacappa is a bit more roomy with outdoor seating.
Food is great but place is run badly and the pickup for takeout is always 20-30 minutes late.
Decent if not world class zoo - a bit small for the size of LA. Membership is a steal for repeat visits especially if you have kids. Arrive early as parking can be a disaster.
Beautiful space with shockingly decent food. Sea Bass and the tagliatelle with sausage are standouts. Very friendly and welcoming service and wait staff.
Wonderful cocktails in an intimate back room. Great “speakeasy” in downtown LA that feels very noir.
Good neighborhood restaurant. Parking is a pain the ass when valet isn’t working, but there’s nice outdoor seating in the back or on the porch.

Wonderful venue. I feel like I grew up on the lawn. Wish they’d have more weeks of ballet and more imaginative programming.
Good hotel bar with nice wine and cocktail selection. Can easily take it back to your room.

Small but interesting museum that peels back and illuminates the story and history of Quebec in a quiet and subtle way.
Good place for a beer/rose and poutine. And you can’t beat the view from the outside patio.
