Wanaki isn’t a bad little county course. There are some gimmick holes but overall not bad. It is not very long.
Pitches is an old school steakhouse that isn’t as well known but still very good. Some old school drinks and good food.
The Bluemound Inn is an old school Italian restaurant. I love going here for lunch as it isn’t as pricey. Try the Chicken Parmesan sandwich.
Thrown is the second best liquor store in Milwaukee and the best if you are on the southwest side. Go here, great selection of beer, wine, and liquor.
We randomly stopped in at the Buckhorn. The crowd was super friendly and he wings looked awesome although we had just eaten. Give it a whirl.
Walkers Point - good bars. Jr’s Hook is not different. A little divey, a little craft beer, a little good music. Great place.
This place lets you smoke or at least they did on the day we were there. . Just pay for the ashtray and puff away.
Dretzka is probably the most underrated course in the Milwaukee Public Courses lineup. A longish course with some tough, tight shots.
The Tosa farmers market is a very nice market. Not the biggest but they pack in some great quality. My wife and I love heading down for a fresh coffee and whatever else we can find.
