One of our favorite NY things to do is have cocktails after work on the roof of the Metropolitan, and take in the best views of Central Park. Open through late fall. Closed on Mondays.

Order the chicken biscuit. It's the absolute best I've ever had. It's the Drake of biscuits. It's a good grill and you know it.
Horrible! They made my whole office sick by undercooking the meatballs. Avoid at all costs!!!
Get the pork belly noodles. You won't be disappointed. Also sit at the counter looking into the kitchen aka the chef's table ;)
Get the Guaco Loco. It's a taco wrapped with a tortilla around it with guacamole as the glue in between the two.
Watch yourself!! The pretzel mustard is SPICY - "wasabi up your nose" level. If you eat a piece with mustard be sure to aim away from the middle of your mouth where your nose holes are.
Make sure to check for the seasonal pierogies. The ones I had were short rib and they were delicious!!!
The WiFi is horrible here. Go anywhere else with WiFi unless you enjoy retro internet speeds.
Top off your meal with a Chipwich for dessert. They cover it with chocolate syrup. A must!!
Get the Chicken & Waffles. It comes with melted honey butter. One of THE BEST things I've eaten!!
Take the elevator to the top and work your way down. Walking down the spiral is much easier. Added bonus: you get to see all the art walking downstairs when leaving if it's closing time.
Get the garlic breadsticks. It's a unique experience that tastes amazing - thick bread "sticks" that you dip in a small pan of sauce. The bread is HOT so be careful!

Chicken Francese is excellent, and the fresh pasta is yummy. Brian and Randy will make you feel 100% at home.
