Welcome to the registrar's office of the infamous University of Okoboji. If you've made it this far you really owe it to yourself to take home an official blanket with the college seal. Incredible!
One of the best beaches in Okoboji, lots of sand to lay out on and bake. The swimming here is excellent, always a good crowd.
Excellent new brewery, all the beers are worth trying (my favorites were the pale ale and pilsner). Live music and top notch service!
Used to love this place as a kid! Sioux was my fav cabin. Lots of memories of capsizing sail boats, snacking on fruit rollups from the store, campfires, and playing capture the flag!
This and Brooks are the best golf courses in the Lakes region. Excellent greens.
Great local Mexican establishment that's perfect for grabbing a meal on the go. The hard shell tacos are delicious and easy to take with on the beach or out boating on the lakes.
It's hard to visualize this being the highest point in Iowa, but it's a fun little tribute just off the highway.
Interesting landform created when the glaciers receded during the last ice age. Beautiful spot to watch the stars at night.
Be careful walking far out on the point. There is a drop off and strong undertow that has led to drownings.

Evidence of ancient civilizations has been found at this site. An archaeological study is ongoing at the park. A new lodge had opened recently as well.
Great place to catch a couple of movies and a great price. Movies might be out awhile before they get them here but it's still a Drive In not many left anymore.
Incredible forest trails, perfect for hiking or taking the dog for a walk (If you don't mind them taking a dip in the winding stream). Be on the lookout for deer, lots of unique wild life.
Great thin crust pizzas, perfect for munching while enjoying a game or socializing. Newly remodeled, the interior provides an enriching lodge environment. My favorite restaurant in Estherville.
