Such a romantic place! They have a special seafood platter that's not advertised on the menu. Oysters, scallops and tuna tartare, simply delicious! If you're in town with an SO, this place is a must!

This is a great safari park! We visited in the winter and it was absolutely gorgeous! Didn't really get to see all the animals since many of them were hibernating I suppose, but still worth it!

This is the cutest cheese gourmet you can find in Ottawa. They have amazing organic cheeses, oils, chutneys, as well as frozen meats and prepared dishes, all from sustainable sources. Very impressive!
Without a doubt one of the best museums in Ottawa! The aboriginal totem poles are unlike anything I've seen before, and the special Viking exhibit was awesome! Highly recommended, especially Thursdays
The VIP section is pretty great! Good menu options, fantastic food, and it's a great date night if you go on Tuesday!
The 45 minute guided tour is full of great information and covers a lot about the residence and past Governors General. Highly recommended!
They normally have all the good movies after the hype around them is gone. Definitely recommend going to an afternoon show on a solo date if you're just around the mall. Pretty laid back and comfy.

It's in a very hard-to-reach part of town and is located behind another building. But if you can find it, then it's a really big costume store with all sorts of crazy finds! They do rentals too!

Cute, independent bookstore. Their collection isn't as big as Chapters, but you can find some pretty interesting books on a lot of niche topics of you're into that kinda stuff.
