Big portions, low prices and a homey atmosphere. The staff is friendly and very helpful if you may be uncertain what to order.
They are constantly working on this zoo. It is clean, the exhibits are interesting and there are plenty of additional things throughout to keep little ones happy, dining, carousel, statuary etc.
Beware the portions are HUGE. We came in for a quick treat and bit off more than we could chew. It was delicious but we will probably share next time.
The Trax station is right near the hotel. This means you can enjoy all that Salt Lake has to offer without having to pay downtown prices or deal with the congestion.
