Comfort food and cocktails executed perfectly (and unpretentiously). One of the best burgers I've ever had, plus fried cheese curds. #FoursquareFind

Brunch on Sunday's only! Get the burger or the egg sandwich (obviously with the bacon wheel). Both uses a soft toasted brioche bun and comes with unbelievably crisp fries (a little salty but whatevs)

What a gem. You can't go wrong with any of the cocktails (although the white negroni was my favorite). The cheese curds, trout roe, and burger were all delicious. I can't wait to come back.

Loving the 1950's ambiance. Fully expecting Biff Tanner to walk through the door and offer me a knuckle sandwich. Recommend the bourbon old fashioned - served proper with one giant ice cube.

Lucky Peach: "The edible stuff is too good to call 'bar food.' Like the cheese curds, molten and crisp, or the french fries. There’s also an excellent hamburger. And yes, the drinks are very good."

Burger is amazing! Double patties and melted cheese and some bacon. Our new favorite in the neighborhood. French fries are kind of spicy, not the regular. I like that less but it’s a matter of taste

Classic, no-fuss, old-school spot with very good cocktails (Dolores Del Rio, The Erin), and very good food. You want the very good Long Island burger, which comes with very good fries.

a fine retreat! elegant cocktails with a clarity of composition and intent. nostalgic decor has a relaxed vibe that's managed to withstand the onslaught of poseurs, which come with greater popularity.

The vibe, cocktails, staff...pretty well put together establishment. Their Jameson, and beer selection is very on point. Try the cocktails. Delicious.

They serve up classy classic cocktails at 12 bucks a pop. LI Gimlet packs a punch. They are still looking for a chef to run their kitchen but anticipate food service to begin in Feb. Here's hoping!

Great neighborhood cocktail bar. Straightforward drink menu. Solid bartenders. The gimlet is great, though very tart. Not a scene yet, but that'll change once the word gets out.

I have never been to a bar in NYC (possibly anywhere) where the staff was so kind. And, oh yeah, their drinks are top notch. This is the bar of dreams.

Good service, nice setup, clean bathrooms, polite staff. Only con amongst all these pros was the drink I ordered - the espresso float was kind of strange and not as tasty as I'd hoped.

The outside will have you expecting milk shakes and grilled cheeses, but jump inside and grab an old fashioned in an old school diner.

Acoustic tile ceiling isn't that attractive, but makes it pleasantly not too loud. For once, a bar where you can have a conversation without yelling.
