They actually have a sand floor. No joke. And the entire place kind of smells like a mix of fish and beach in the best way possible.

Lobster rolls are crack! It's a great spot if you want to be in the city and getaway from the city at the same time! Helps when u feel sand under ur feet as well!

Cocktails are great: try tiki ones! Calamari are a good starter. Lobster roll is a must, with chicken shrimps tacos. Finally, the tiramisu to "assemble" is very curious and well made.

Surf bar fries were awesome, shoestring French fries with honey and sea salt. We ended up eating two batches.

Very nice bar in Brooklyn where sand is on the floor and is a getaway from the city! Cocktails look nice and their menu has a Hawaiian touch

The lemonade and mojitos are great! The atmosphere of this place is beyond amazing as well as the decoration! One of my favorite places in NYC.

Frozen cocktails are awesome. I got the Mudslide which is basically like a huge icy coffee milkshake. Lovely.

Cool space (heads up there is literally sand on the floor). Burrito here is delicious, drinks are pretty good too!

Fun decor and atmosphere! Order the surf fries. Awesome! Waiters are friendly but seem a little confused - sent us some extra orders a few times!

Probably not someplace you would want to frequently, but it's good for some kitsch every now and again. Try a piña colada and feel the sand between your toes.

N-Sider favorite: Our must is the Surf Bar for their frozen Mojito's – slushee's for adults. They load 'em up with mint and are delicious.

The ground of the bar is sandy. It is like a beach. Very otantic. Service is also good.

Cool atmosphere and the signature drinks are delicious. The food was unimpressive, the salsa is obvious shelf bought. The clam chowder was watery and greasy tasting.

The best part is the sand inside. The food was overpriced. The drinks also bottom shelf liquor also overpriced. The waitress sucked. But the outside seating was nice for big groups. That's about it

if you order the yuca fries, ask for aioli. the tomato sauce stuff that comes with it just doesn't do the job.

Good drinks and a sand-covered floor makes a solid spot for day drinking. But eat before you get here because the food is very overpriced.
