Friendly service and very nice rooms. My room was incredibly spacious and comfortable to compared to other hotel rooms in Midtown Manhattan. Highly recommend this place!

Great boutique hotel a short walk to most midtown attractions and subway is around the corner. Very comfortable quiet upscale rooms. Yes they're small but this is NY! The rooftop lounge is gorgeous.

Great location. Close to a lot of places. Staff is superb. Room is small but very quaint. It's NYC, you don't stay in your room!

The rooftop has recently been opened to the public, so go now to enjoy an especially serene no-frills cocktail or two before the word gets out.

Cute & very updated hotel in a great location! Rooms are small but you don't come to NYC to spend time in your room. Yes you can hear the buzz of the street a bit but...that's New York.

Even though this hotel has impeccable customer service, the building is so old that I couldn't listen to music or have a friend or two over for a conversation. Please insulate the walls!

This is a great hotel, location, quality, amenities, all an A+. I travel and I'm super picky, but they impressed me enough to write this.

The rooftop bar is great. Check the seat cushions to be sure they aren't soaked from rain before you sit down. The bartenders in the lobby bar wouldn't turn the tv channel for us "didn't know how"

Staff was very rude and not helpful. Rooms are very small, and the wood paneling in our room was rotting away/misshapen. Huge comfy beds, though! And Opia is FANTASTIC. Try the spinach!!

Extremely small rooms in which ironing board could be hardly unfolded! Not to mention other maintenance issues: drip taps, smelly room, noisy AC, no toiletry etc. Location is really good though.

Room 603 is not small. Street noise can be an issue. Elevators take forever and are very small. Otherwise, a very nice stay. Good location, restaurant and bar are good.

Staff is lovely. Fireside lounge is fun. Decor is interesting. Bath is big but water is slow and less hot than one could wish. Location is great, though.

I fail to believe their restaurant has more than a hotpot and a microwave based on the food they serve.

Highly recommend avoiding room service at all costs. Super slow, and a college kid can make better food in a dorm room.
