One of the most famous squares in Munich. The Glockenspiel is simply amazing, and don't miss the late Gothic style of t he Old Town Hall. It takes about a 10-min walk from the Hauptbahnhof station.
Location is good. A 20 minutes walk to Marien Platz or you can take S Bahn. It's just 2 stops away but will cost you EUR1.30.
Great Pub. Big but always enough people there. Beer, burger and whisky! Badly understaffed, but with the English and Irish people there you always have a nice time. Better reserve a table.
I love this place. If you want to have a good time in Munich and you like bands, it's the place to go!

Food in general is good and the portion is wow. Tried the sirloin steak and it was good. Seating area is fine. Bottom line, worth to try 👍
Food is OK, but it's far from authentic (there is beef in the menu). Worst feeling from drinks that they bring to you without asking and then include in the bill. crooks!

The restaurants are incredibly busy on weekend, you would better come on other days and early.
Lunch break in Munich? Just go to the Viki, get some bread, sausage, fruit & cheese, a seat in the Biergarten and a beer. Beer on tab changes every week. If its Mardi Gras, come early!

The ‘English Garden’ is Munich’s green lung — and one of the biggest parks in the world. In the Chinesischer Turm (Chinese Tower) beer garden you can relax and enjoy a beer.
