Extensive beer selection with ridiculously good food. Get the seared tuna, mussels, netsuke bacon lollipops, bone marrow and best for last... Carpaccio!!!
Definitely try the shrimp and grits! Four large shrimp with super tasty & creamy grits & a jalapeño sauce. My friends and I split this as an appetizer, but I had this as my meal my 2nd time there!
A seasonal menu that maintains local favorites. Incredible selection of beers on tap. I suggest grabbing a number of shared plates: Marrow, WagyuCarpaccio, Duck Wings, Moth Balls. Pair with a brew.
If you get the shrimp and grits, try it with the sauce on the side. It is really great without it, and there is A LOT of the jalapeño sauce to the point where it kind of overpowers the flavor.
Their burger is my Best Burger in Dallas, and their zucchinichips are thin and salty with a great Ranch dressing to dip. Add the zucchini as a side to your burger, and you've got a fabulous meal!

A bit over-hyped, good food but all the dishes have a lot of competing flavors...German bratwurst on cous cous w/ pickledcelery instead of kraut or spaezle? Come on y'all.
The Badass Bacon Waffle and the CountryBreakfast are delicious options for a satisfying brunch, specially when paired with a Bloody Mary or a North Coast Old Rasputin Imperial Stout!
I visited this place a couple of days ago; I just forgot to write a review. Well the place itself has a cool setting and very lovely servers. The foods were great also though with a minimum of portion
Awesome atmosphere. I tried the grilled cheese and gazpacho. I didn't think either were spectacular. However, I will be back because I saw some other items I might like. Pecan pie was to die for.
The best Steak Tartare and Mussels in Dallas! Great ambiance not too upscale. One of the best place for caipirinhacocktail. My favorite restaurant in Dallas by far!
Meddlesome Moth pioneered the gastropub movement in Dallas, and remains head and shoulders above the rest, with food that's better than ever and a breathtaking beer selection. [Eater 38 Member]
I love plates to share here. Rich and delicious. definitely recommend reservations. This is The Flying Saucer for grown adults with craft beers and artisanal food creations.
Get a side of mayo to dip those french fries in and work your way through the local taps. This Design District beer bar has always had great mussels and an impressive beer list.
Legit might be a top five place in Dallas. Sweetbreads were great. Beef tartare is good. Beer selection is fantastic. Wait staff might be the coolest around
Dinner for two: $$$. Sitting under the stained glass Elvis: priceless. Oh and try the bone marrow (my first time) cause its indescribable, in a good way. Coming back to try everything.
Beer selection is…in a word Amazeballs!!! Thai Curry Mussels, bone marrow, oysters, Brussels sprouts, and LITERALLY every other EFFING thing on the menu.
The Moth's slinging 10-12 classic cocktails like the Vesper, the Sazerac, and the Dark & Stormy, all of which will fill the void of your confidence. Leggi tutto
Bone marrow, mussels, beer selection. It's no wonder this place is rated #1! Sit at the bar for a more authentic, less rigid and formalgastropub experience.
The Coq Au Vin, featured as a special was divine. Came here because they feature sour beers (Rodenbach), noticed many Moscow mules floating about in copper cups and for good reason
There’s no need to meddle with a recipe if nothing’s wrong, and there’s certainly nothing wrong with Meddlesome Moth! What a great experience – there are many lessons to learn from the bar! Leggi tutto
The Meddlesome Moth features rare craft beers and delicately curated gastro-pub fare in a cheeky, cathedral-like spot in the burgeoning Design District. [Eater 38 Member]
UPDATE: The Chicken Pie has been removed from the menu but is on special occasionally I'm told. Never mind, No pie gives way to the Lamb, the Bacon Lollipops, well, really any of the stick dishes.
Even traditional brunch drinks get a boost of beer goodness. The bloody Mary is made a bit creamier with a jolt of Imperial stout, and the excellent mimosa is made with Hefeweisen.
This is a bar that hordes their best beers in the back for employees and special occasions that one must be invited to. I highly recommend going to the Common Table.
Do NOT get Shrimp & Grits. It is good but the subtle flavors make for a relatively boring dish. Jalapenogravy tastes like green sauce on enchiladas at every Mexican place. Sweetbread is 10x better!
for eats definitely try the veal sweetbreads and bone marrow, the 5 spice pork belly was forgettable, the texture was more akin to pulled pork, ask for samples of beers on draft or try a flight!
Beer selection is great and all beer is served in the proper glass, at the right temp and with a nice head. Order anything off the food menu. It's all awesome.
Dallas’ first true gastropub, features a diverse plates with many unique options. Offering 40 craft beers on tap, live ales and 80+ bottled, wine and cocktails.
