1 week in Bogota & Cartagena
1. Restaurante Carmen
Monica Desai: Sushi balls, banh mi and tacos! This was by far one of our best meals in Colombia!
2. La Cevicheria
Monica Desai: Come for the (mexican) ceviche, stay for the paella and coconut rice
3. Cafe Havana
Seyi (Shay) A.: I loved this place. Cover, at 12,000 pesos, is relatively steep compared with most other places, but it is well worth it. The live salsa is amazing, and the drinks are good. Great atmosphere.
4. La Palettería
Julieta Arrazola: Los sabores más ricos y refrescantes son tamarindo y coco. También recomiendo la de yogurt con frutos rojos, es deliciosa!
5. Centro Histórico de Cartagena / Ciudad Amurallada
6. Cafe del Mural
Monica Desai: Tons of paths for coffee and chocolate lovers (try the milkshakes!), and a good excuse to explore the cuter side of Getsemani
7. La Vitrola
Monica Desai: A Colombian classic with live music and star appearances!
8. La Movida
Monica Desai: Supposedly THE club in Cartagena, this place gets going after midnight on the weekends with good music and an outdoor space.
9. Maria
Monica Desai: Beet risotto was the highlight, followed closely by the ambiance!
10. Mirador Café & Bar
11. St. DOM
12. Andrés Carne de Res
13. Rafael
Monica Desai: Beetroot ravioli and tiraditos all day!! Plus excellent cocktails, great place to start your night.
14. Abasto
Monica Desai: Cutest breakfast spot in Bogota: arepas, quinoa, arroz caldoso - all yummy and preferably consumed beside the fireplace.
15. La Candelaria
Monica Desai: Definitely do the free graffiti tour to explore the deeper context behind these works that cover Bogota
