Very helpful and efficient baggage irregularity office and hopeful they do as promised deliver my delayed bag -not put on at Vienna-to my hotel around 2000 off the next inbound Austrian from Vienna.
A reasonable selection of shops and places to eat .. But the Malls on the edge of the City are better: e.g Sun Plaza, AFI Cotroceni, Plaza Romană etc.
Fantastic food ... I recommend the Chicken in white wine and cream sauce, with some spinach as a side dish .. piept de pui in sos de vin .. și ..spanac cu usturoi
Escape Lounge a good refuge ... Good selection of hot and cold food (pies, sausage rolls; potato, bean, green & couscous salads)
Lovely wedding venue, well organised, good food and relaxed formality that's just right.
Staff. In Town Centre. Same price usually as to Colchester (which is a 20 minute walk to town).

first photo is opposite (not the Minories but a top end independent hotel). As for the Minories itself, best bit probably the garden and the café.
Superb shopping mall especially for clothes and restaurants, including a Jamie Olivers with al fresco dining possible. Includes a Caffè Nero. Easy access from Stratford rail/tube/DLR.
A very nice hotel, centrally located, in a quiet street; welcoming staff; extensive buffet breakfast; many good restaurants nearby. Definitely recommended.
Lovely mall with huge range of shops, a massive Carrefour supermarket and plenty of cafes. Includes a bowling alley and cinema.
An attractive tree lined Street of historic houses, blended with some newer properties. Well worth a stroll from the Parliament building to this area of Cotroceni.
