Real italian food cooked in front of you. However avoid this shop on Friday evening unless you plan to queue and be lost in the crowd. Also if you are on a carbs restricted diet that's clearly not it.
Very nice place for breakfast or brunch. Warm and cozy atmosphere, interesting they renew the wallpapers (made of film's posters) from time to time.
Ask to have mozzarella, not gouda cheese which is the predefined choice. I like tuna and onion pizza. Also if you like ask for "scharf" (spicy)

A 200 g steak medium rare is all you need. A bit overpriced though, and they lose coats in the wardrobe. However you can't miss eating in the Gehry's tower at least once.

Best, all-you-can-eat sushi I town. You order via iPad and your food arrives within minutes. Make sure to have a reservation to avoid long waits for a table. But even the wait is worth the tasty sushi

If you like Brazilian this is the place in Düsseldorf. There is an all you can eat menu where you can have a salad starter, they will bring you the best meat late when you are full so take care...
Unusual italian restaurant - you won't find pizza or pasta here. On the expensive side but nice cousine.
Get the Nebraska steak with truffle oil, not on the menu but they will make it for you. Amazing steak!
You won't finish any of the menus no matter which one is it (ask for the doggy bag) but they are nevertheless a nice choice to taste a bit of everything
Go for Mongos Total, it includes the soup and unlimited refills at the buffet. But don't make the mistake to put too many ingredients, try them in different rounds.
The "hamburger plate" is not really an hamburger, it's a typical plate from Hamburg :-) it has three kinds of pan-fried fish with potatoes. Must try.
If you are hungry use the "Kaedama system". Leave the liquid part of the soup and scream "Kaedamaaaa!!!". For 1.50€ they will bring you another portion of ramen to toss in.

The meat makes this the best hamburger in town. It looks tiny, but it fills you really up. The bun is nothing special. This one is the "Big Brother". The place is simple and kind of self service.
This is what you get for a price that is just a little more than what you'll get by other places nearby, but that's not fried in vegetable oil - it's a juicy medium grilled real burger!
