Schooner is adjoined to the Lobster House but they have different menus. Great spot to grab oysters and drinks on the water. The spinach salad is super fresh
Pod was probably my first "upscale" restaurant when I was a teen. It's fun and has great sushi rolls but can get loud. If you want something more casual than Morimoto or RAW, pod is a fun joint
Wow. I don't know how I've passed up Estia for so long. The sea bass and lamb shank are phenomenal (big portions too) but seriously- get the octopus appetizer. I could've gotten that alone
Personal favorite combo: Frenchie and a bowl of sweet potato soup. Their winter salad rules!
The usual fare (crabs, mussels) are fantastic, but don't ignore the black eyed Susan salad. Really filling and delicious

The crab cake is amazing, but don't sleep on the cream of crab soup either. Honestly it might be better than the crab cake
The happy hour here is great! Dollar oysters and $5 mussels, which are the biggest I've ever seen in my life. Can't beat this
One of the best bourbon selections I've ever seen, ever. Bartenders are super nice and they make a mean old fashioned
Second time in Newport, so we finally stopped for one of the famous Awful Awfuls. Absolutely amazing!
My wife and I wound up here after a long 5-hour hike and couldn't have loved it more. The berry chicken salad, schnitzel and spaetzle are top notch. Service is so friendly too
The make your own noodle bowls are great with the garlic sesame dressing. Get a local root beer from the fountain
Continental is fantastic, but prepare for prices. Two cocktails and an order of lettuce wraps can be $50. That said, excellent date spot.
If you're in need of a basic gym for average fitness, its hard to knock Planet Fitness. I work out here usually and the people are friendly
Easily my favorite spot to eat in Cape May. The formal restaurant is great, but I prefer getting some beers, oysters, and chowder at the raw bar. When the weather is nice, it's perfect
