Don't be afraid of the line. Drink a couple beers at the bar. The pizza is worth the wait. You can always order takeout too.

The only thing better than a NY style pizza,is an original Italian pie😍 Only place you'll find one,(and they are huge)is Lombardis downtown.👍👍👍👍👍

we walked and walked and when we got here, it actually lived up to the hype. Great pizza. only complaint was the water they served. Tepid and had a funny taste. Get wine instead

America’s 1st pizzeria! It’s a bit of a tourist trap and the service is slow but the big pizzas served above the table are great fun 🍕

Grandmas meatballs were so good. Pizza was great but did not meet the hype. I would recommend the clam pie and cake boss pie with prosciutto. Pies are not very big and the value is not great.

It’s good but not amazing. Margherita with premium toppings is the way to go. We also added ricotta. Bruschetta is pretty good too.

First pizza joint in the U.S., excellent Original Margherita pizza! Definitely competes with the best CT pizza joints, Colony, Pepe's, Rosalind and Modern.

My favorite pizza in all of Manhattan! I get it topped with ricotta cheese and sausage. It's always hot and crispy. Mmm.

They accept reservations Mon-Thurs. Pizza was yummy! Exactly how it should be. Cash only, but they do have ATMs inside. We ordered a Large (18") Margherita to share, $24.

Pizza was one of the best I ever had... Margherita with spinach. Well worth the wait. I will come here again from over an hour drive just to have dinner! Top notch.

One of the best pizzas I've eaten. They come with surprisingly little mozzarella, but that does not effect the quality. Cash Only!

Haven't tried others places yet to compare, but the food and service here was so great, i'll probably never eat pizza anywhere else again. Very true to my memories of Italy!

So even though I am from Chicago I love real New York pizza and we have a place called Napolita and it's way better. Sorry. This was ok not what I wanted.

A huge tourist spot, to be sure, but the pizza here is good. Cash only. Whole pies only. Stay away from the clam pie, even though it may be recommended elsewhere.

Honestly I don't understand why people are making so much fuss out of this place! Pizzas are tasteless +you drink & eat w plastic plates & cups! not what I expect from I quote "the best pizza in NY"

Sure, the atmosphere is one step away from the Olive Garden, and the lines get ridiculous, but the pizza itself lives up to the hype.

As always, the pizza was delicious. My gf and I didn't have to wait too long, so that made the experience that much better. You MUST, I repeat MUST, add the homemade meatballs toppings to your meal. P

I had margheritas pizza. It was delicious! Wait was about 15 min for two. The service however made me feel like I was being rushed out.

The pizza really is good here but also loved the house salad and organic greens a big plus! Also it was nice that they brought the food quick as we were really hungry. :e)

The red is much better than the White. Simple is best, just pick a meat and you can't go wrong.

No options of pizza to chose: Just the Original Lombardi's pizza adding as many toppings as you like. Try it with Meatballs+mushrooms! Yummy!

Expensive, worth the price if the service stepped it up. They tag team service but one of my servers couldn't get me a refill without the main server. Pizza is outstanding though.

Lombardi's got just the right amount of fresh mozzarella and a tangy sauce redolent of basil. All of the toppings are of high quality, especially the *sliced homemade meatballs*.

If you are in NY, you have to come here. This is the first pizzeria established in Manhattan. Great coal fired pizza.

Friend told me I had to come here. Tried the calzone, and was quite disappointed. Had so many so much better pizzas in my life. Now I regret having consumed the calories.
