Great atmosphere- nice seating area, jazz music. But ship everything here except the beignets. I prefer these beignets to Cafe du monde. They are big and fluffy. Food has small portions and just meh
Table service was very slow, but the take-out line moved quickly. The quality of beignets were inconsistent- flat beignets during busier times, delicious and fluffy beignets when less busy.
The place was absolutely beautiful with a stunning view. Here’s the list of yummies: catfish, soft shell crab pitre, crawfish etoufee, pork chops, and alligator stuffed mushrooms. There’s vegan too!
I went to 3 other G.C. to find peach cobbler and finally found it here! Nice staff here. Bit smaller than others- set up is similar to Chinese buffet. Clean, though. Lots of desserts, but no taco bar.
The best pho I have had- and I’ve been to a lot of pho places. The portions are huge and the prices are cheap. Def get the spring rolls. Everything is delicious (although the parking lot is horrible!)
