Jeremy Kuriloff: Easy to miss - go through the red doors and up the stairs! Mushrooms/bamboo was delicious, but the reason to come here is the "hidden" vibe + BYOB!!

Joe Medved: Inexpensive, excellent sushi + BYOB. Grab wine at Yorkshire Wine on 1st b/w 85th & 86th St, and cash at the ATM across the street at Ryan's Daughter. Cash only.

New York Habitat: BYOB and get the croque-monsieur. This place is also great for a weekend brunch but leave the plastic at home - it's cash only.

The Corcoran Group: Make reservations at this tiny and delicious modern French bistro. Enjoy BYOB with no cork fee and try the Tournedos Rossini. Cash only.
