beau: Great for anyone who wants to acclimate to the local weather, enjoy the beach, snorkel, scuba, and shop. Can't do without AC? Go elsehere. Beautiful, lush gardens. Beautiful beach. Great location.

Lindsay: Got the garlic shrimp and grasshoppa dish. Both were really good. Unlike most places on kauai, the grasshoppa is really spicy! So don't get it if you can't take heat.

lowercase o: For breakfast get the French toast (Pineapple brioche, with 2 small slices of pineapple and 3pcs of bacon) & dont forget the latte to wash down

Liz: I came here when it first opened and have dreamed of it for the past year. The lychee sangria is to die for and the miso butterfish is one of the best meals of my life! 5 stars!

Papalani Gelato: Great farm to table dining on Kauai. Fresh local fish and other items from the sea! Great wine list, nice dining experience!

Frozen Trout: The chocolate soufflé with raspberry sauce, and vanilla ice cream was amazing! As was everything else!!

Bob Kurtz: If you like teriyaki, you have to try the Teri Beef sandwich! (get it with cheese & it's even better)

Chris Messina: The lemon-pineapple pancake soufflé is wonderfully light and sweet.

Jessica Chan: best lunch plate in Kauai. get a mixed plate and eat outside with the locals and chickens.

Epicurious: Saimin is Hawaiian comfort food - long, soft, crinkly Chinese-style noodles in a Japanese-style broth, topped with green onion, slices of fish cake, bits of luncheon meat. This spot does it best.

Ana Marie: Get here early! She sells out fast!

Julie Housh: Get any kine poke. They'll ask if you want to add shoyu, spiciness, etc.

Parker Otis: Great shaved ice! Rumored to be the best on the island!

Rebecca Wiesman: The coconut shrimp are fantastic! Hand breaded for each order and served with a papaya ginger tartar sauce. And definitely check out their daily specials! The mahi mahi burger was awesome!

Ryan: Get several varieties of tuna poke to go. They are all excellent.

Deborah Felder: Bring bug spray. And don't come when you're starving cause there's a good wait for your burger. But the Local Girl has pineapple on it and it is definitely worth the wait!

Sean O'Reilly: Sometimes randomly closes early. Oh well, sure I'll be back to Kauai someday.

Ken S: Great snorkeling and if you're lucky you may see a turtle or seal
