Tonie WanMaggio 16, 2018It was described to me as the “Indian chipotle”. Pretty spot on to the description. Food was good, portions are large. Beware food coma afterwards.
Get the Feast: a little bit of everything, including your choice of rice, salad, and dal in addition to your main item and choice of naan. Comes in just under $10; not too shabby!
Biryanis over feast for more meat and rice. Can't go wrong with chicken or pork vindaloo. Try the garlic naan if your still feeling hungry. Get as much pineapple raita as you can. Order online.

Daniel McDonoughAgosto 26, 2014The chicken tikka feast is good. You get just the right amount of portions where you can eat the entire thing and not feel too full. The line can take awhile so avoid during high lunch times.
You can order online for pickup or delivery. Much better than waiting in line for 20 minutes during the lunch rush.

Even the three star isn't spicy if you're used to spicy food, though. Add on some samosas, too!
Don’t think, just get the chicken biryani bowl super spicy with crispy onions and raita on top. Then brace for food coma.
Best ethnic food chipotle style! Long line during lunch but they're fast. Food can be a little greasy but it's good. Get the mango lasse!
NVDKAgosto 7, 2014Great concept of modernizing and making a kind of indian chipotle. Somewhat poor execution. A few things tasted like they had been heated from the freezer - artificial. Very cool drink machine.
Yera HaDicembre 5, 2015Pleasantly surprised at how good this place is. Get the feast - paneer tikka is great. Be careful with the spice, though. I got level 3 (out of 4) and instantly regretted it.

The Chipotle of Indian food is a great lunch staple for the Flatiron crowd. The feast with saag paneer, black lentils, and a side of onion fritters is my go to.

The Classic Dal is one of the best Indian dishes I've ever had. Get a double portion and more to take home.

The onion bhaji are small crispy battered onion bits. Dont expect pakoras and you will be fine. The extra pineapple raita for 50 cents is inexplicably only 1 tablespoon full in quantity.

Mild for newcomers and tasty. This is like training wheels for the Insian and Pakistan cuisine bicycle.
You should give fish curry a try – trust me. Also, get the chai.
