The butterfly exhibit is great and I've always been a fan of the planetarium. Seeing Lois (the corpse flower) was anticlimactic, though I do enjoy my "Bring on the Funk" button.

The live butterfly exhibit fascinates children as does the Challenger Learning Center with its intro to space science. Spend time exploring the dinosaur exhibit, if you need a break enjoy an IMAX film

Used to be a rather mediocre science museum ... but no longer ... The new Paleontology Hall is a massive improvement. Butterfly center remains a fantastic experience, especially with small children.

45 minutes of 4 way stops and bumper to bumper traffic, even using GPS. I finally gave up on Cockrell Butterfly Hall at the HMNS and the new Picasso exhibit at the MFAH. Traffic hell.
