Great cocktail and food program at this dimly lit, cozy west village spot. Both fish dishes were cooked extremely well. The bass with black rice (w/ mussels and mushrooms) will make you a mussel lover

Great cocktails & wine list and yummy food in a cozy, dim atmosphere. Very happy I ordered the Blackened Sea Bream. Endive salad and steak tartare were great starters too.

Although the menu includes many lighter options, Fedora is really the place to go when you want to indulge a bit. Every night here feels like a party, and the kitchen is open late. Leggi tutto

A historic West Village space beautifully made over; go for some of the best cocktails in the Village, or for Montreal-born chef Mehdi Brunet-Benkritly's insanely delicious, slightly oddball menu.

Drinks are excellent, with kitschy "golden TV era" names like "Orange is the new House of Cards" and "Carcosa" (if you get this ilu). Sea scallops, squid, butternut squash pot de creme are excellent.

See if you can get a spot or host an event in the beautiful, 'secret' back garden. It's fun walking through the kitchen to get there.

Hook's cheddar poppers: oblong croquettes filled with cheddar from Wisconsin. The molten cheese finds its foil in a duo of sauces: one tomato-based, the other with smoky cream.

Being across the street, this place is our living room extension. Get the corner booth and try the mushroom/egg app and either the chicken or wagyu steak with the house Pinot Noir. Perfect.

For a large party (8+ people), you can book this wonderful room in the basement. Exposed brick, rustic wooden table with an intimate atmosphere (am I turning you on?). The dishes do not disappoint.

Fun twist on traditional dishes. The brussels sprouts are to die for and the razor clams are pretty amazing as well. Great place to take out of town guests. Small, intimate, & NY at its finest

Try the Snoop Lion or the Black Squirrel Old Fashioned. Interesting cocktail list. Cool vibe, mix of people: Wall St., locals, hipsters, et al.

Fantastic cocktails. Dill + Gin, something about my "baby", and Jason Collins. Highly, highly recommend. Plus the bartender is a cocktail artist and chill. Go and be impressed.

Very well executed cocktails including riffs on classics. Gets busy but there is a bench thing big enough for 2 if the bar is full by the kitchen

The fried chicken was really something worth trying. Go early (before 7:30pm) the noise level to have a conversation becomes impossible after that.

You can't just come in for a drink when they're seating for dinner at the bar and its crazy crowded on the weekends. Point being don't come if you're not eating or on the weekends. Otherwise lovely.

Great cocktail list. Steak tartare is a perfect starter. Even though the chef worked at Au Pied de cochon, don't over the fish dishes.
