Beth B. • Settembre 27, 2019Great tour. Very reasonable. Gives excellent perspective on Colony, Revolutionary, and pre-Antebellum history.
Debbie C. • Luglio 30, 2013Very interesting. Our tour guide Stephan was terrific - he shared a lot of fascinating history within a brief 30 minute tour. Don't miss the exhibits on the top and main floors.
Corley S. • Giugno 9, 2022Considering the history, i think this museum could have been more engaging. That said, entry is relatively cheap so worth it to get a quick overview of the role Charleston played during slavery.
Reginald L. • Giugno 13, 2019Weather wasn't good today so decided to visit the museum. Was amazed at how much time we spent here and it was great for the kids. Even had activities for them every Wednesday. Highly recommend.
Charming Inns of Charleston • Gennaio 23, 2013Two words: spiral staircase. And one more word: BEAUTIFUL! A must-see for architecture lovers.
Justin D. • Marzo 20, 2013If your visiting Charleston and a history fan you need to stop by here, a little building with a lot of history, and there are some objects you can touch and hold. $3 for adults $1 for a student
Jon • Maggio 29, 2017Small but quite an interesting room filled with historical facts about postal services in Charleston.
Mary Catherine J. • Luglio 2, 2019Take the ghost tour before the building gets turned into office space. It’s a shame it’s not preserved & treated like the awesome historical landmark that it is. It should be office space.
C-SPAN • Giugno 11, 2014Built in 1894, Waring Historical Library was originally known as Hoffman Library. For more info check out this C-SPAN video.
Michael L. • Marzo 1, 2018Worth stopping in even for non-students. They have a small natural history museum, and a pterodactyl skeleton in the lobby. Across the street in the library atrium, there's a T. rex skeleton as well.
