Free wifi in departures upstairs is quite good, good enough for working whilst waiting for the flight gate to come up.

Get a local sim card at the Sim Local shop in arrivals terminal 1. All have all the local mobile operators.

Ryanair only let you check a bag in up to 3hrs before the flight. Got here too early and had to wait about before I could get through security.

If you're flying directly to the US, the airport "pre-clears" passengers, so no customs when you get home. Just get off the plane and go.

If you're flying to the US, make sure that you arrive in plenty of time, as you will go through customs and immigration before boarding the plane.
