HuffoPo says if getting a cronut, "May we at least suggest you also purchase a DKA? It is the chef's take on a kouign-amann, a French pastry with layers of butter and sugar. It's fabulous." Leggi tutto

The cronut is just as delicious and divine as it is cracked up to be. Their Kouign Amann is also fantastic, and you can only find it in a handful of bakeries in the U.S.

Cronuts for the world! Heavenly delicious. The perfect little egg was also tasty. Sit in the garden if the weather allows it. Everthing looks awesome. You have to try the DKA, too.

Will not comment on the Cronut & the chocolate chip cookie shot. I'm just here to say that I went on a Sunday and they had Cronuts till about 1pm, & the cookie shot line started around 2:45pm.

The cronuts are as mindblowing as the hype suggests. Worth the line? Once, yes. Their other pastries (DKA, newly unveiled souffle) are delightful. Dominique and the staff are friendly also.

If you're seeking the glorious croissant doughnut Cronut, be aware they sell out within an hour every morning and the queue begins at 7:30am. Or you can pre-order 1 week in advance.

The chocolate chip cookie shots filled with their vanilla milk blend are actually life-changing. They're worth however many hours you have to wait or children you have to sell.

Dominique Ansel left Daniel Boloud’s restaurant Daniel to start his own bakery in Soho, and has since gained a following for his decadent mini-meringues and freshly baked to order madeleines.

Each customer is limited to 2 cronuts per visit. It's def worth it though! I really enjoyed the desserts & atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available up front & in the back of the bakery!

Skip out on the touristy cronut. Get the DKA (“Dominique’s Kouign Amann”) which is like a croissant but with a delicious sweet filling. The other desserts aren't bad as well. And it's always packed.

Aside from the lauded Cronuts, you'll find an excellent array of French pastries, such as the Madeleines, DKA, and croissants.

Skip out on the suburban touristy cronut and definitely get the "DKA" (“Dominique’s Kouign Amann”). It's like a delicious croissant with a nice soft sweet filling in the middle.

For the love of god, don't ask about a Cronut after about 9am. It will be sold out. Tolerate the long line and try one of the other pastries (almond croissant, DKA, etc).

If you do not have an American palate (i.e. uber sweet tooth) skip Cronut & DKA; get a regular croissant (possibly the best I've had outside France) - the other two were way too sweet to be enjoyable.
