Not the best brewery in Portland unless you are huuuuuggeeee fan of IPA's. Selection of other types is pretty limited.

They make their own sarsaparilla-style root beer. Very tasty alcohol-free alternative!

Get a beer sampler. The Chainbreaker is great if you like citrus beer. I'm also trying the Elk burger.

This is on my list because their beers are decent, it's a good central location, the food is good, there are ample tables and the staff is nice. It's not a warm n' fuzzy kinda place, but whatever.

VEGANS: Try the black bean burger (house-made veggie burger). The sweet potato fries are awesome too if that's your thing.
