Honestly, a very fun place to walk around and take it all in, walk the nice boardwalk, just re done not to long ago and enjoy the rides and the food. Get a Nathan's Hot Dog, Shoot the Freak, down a beer or just walk. It's our favorite nearby escape.

It isn't the nicest beach, it's because it's New York. Home of the best known amusement park. A lot of interesting things happen along the Boardwalk. You can't just visit once

There's also a store that sells all beach items (towels, sunglasses, toys..)- No better introduction to winter than swimming with the Polar Bears on New Years Day on Coney Island Beach. 1pm. FREE ACTIVITIES at Coney Island: Fireworks - every Friday night starting in June. Movies - Monday nights on the beach starting in July. Concerts - Thursday nights at 21st and Surf starting in July.
Swift SwiftAgosto 2, 2015Ride the cyclone, it's more fun than most wooden roller coasters. The Ferris wheel has a great view too. Lots of good people watching on the boardwalk. Don't forget to stop at Nathan's.
