    "This building was built in 1879, and burned down in 1890. A stone marks the northeast corner of the structure, placed by Dr. William Beal, who built and worked in the building."

    "In 2009, Archaeologists discovered the Northeast Corner of College Hall, MSU's 1st building built in 1855, under the sidewalk running along the east side of Beaumont. The building collapsed in 1918."
