For it's size, this botanic garden packs in a punch. Week-to-week, day-to-day, there's always something new to see. Regular trips here are the perfect way to measure seasons.

Please note that picnics and blankets are not permitted. We noticed that this tip appears first and want to avoid disappointment! The onsite Yellow Magnolia Cafe offers a delicious seasonal menu.

Small enough to tackle the entirety of the grounds in a day, but diverse enough to focus as much time in any single section. Member's picnic nights can't be beat.

Esplanade's only place in BBG where lawn-sitting is allowed. The Sakura Matsuri festival every May is good fun, but if you want to avoid crowds and see the trees in bloom, come a week or two earlier.

This botanical garden has 13 themed gardens, including a cherry esplanade! No concrete jungle here, only beautiful blooms swaying in the breeze. Be independent, and admire these natural works of art.
