More going on in their distillery than some of those around as they have a full service restaurant that serves up a good lunch.

One of the better distilleries to just pop into without doing a tour. They have a lovely gift shop and a nice bar and sitting area where you can sample some flights.

One of the more iconic Scottish castles. The price of admission includes a short tour that makes it a worthwhile stop if you're in the area.

Lovely couple running a quaint b&b that really saved us when we were stranded by foul weather and unable to make it to our original hotel. One of the better breakfasts I've had at a B&B too.
Fairly authentic German place. The food is good but obviously not up to the standards that you'd get in Germany. The space is really cool, big and open.

This is the restaurant in the National Gallery and while it is a "museum restaurant" it was better than I was expecting. Plus the view of the town out the big picture windows is quite nice.
