Great concept of speakeasy bar, nice dj but hard to talk since the music is blasting. Most of the drinks are very sweet.

They're strict about reservations. If you're late, you will lose your table. If there are changes to your reservation they'll try to accommodate you, but they wont go out of their way.

The spot to get a good drink in this neighborhood. Less packed than other speakeasies and one of the prettier ones. Staff seems serious.

Always cool here! Sometimes the line can be a little long, but a good vibe inside! Obviously be prepared for expensive drinks though!

If you want some sense of the sheer stuffiness of this place, stick your nose inside the mouth of another human being. Breathe there for a half hour or so. If you enjoyed that, this place is for you.

Ask for the Phil number one. It's gin and cucumber. As someone who does not like gin, this is one of my favorite cocktails of all time.

Great cocktails (try the fiori uva) but hostess outside can be a bit of a bitch so make sure you make a reservation.

Appropriate location for dates and cocktails, I don't think I've ever spent less than $100 at this place in a night. The Burlesque shows are a bonus, although you'll find better elsewhere in New York.

Situated and his by its Stone St Coffee facade, BG is another NY speakeasy...moderate drinks, solid ambiance--but not worth more than a couple mins wait should you find yourself in line outside

Entrance is through the coffee shop, in an unmarked door that blends with the wallpaper. food: kobe sliders. booze: the sling if you like gin, el diablo if you like tequila.

Surprisingly crowded at 7pm on a Monday... possibly because Google is two blocks away? Louder than expected and the cocktails are expensive, but pleasantly strong.
