Hovhannes: Plan your visit to Orsay from the early morning. Be prepared for a 15-20 minutes queue.
Hovhannes: One of the oldest and cosiest book stores I've ever been! Check 2nd floor. Feel free to take a book and read it in the room with a piano.
Hovhannes: Opera house is so beautiful both from inside and outside. Chagall's drawings are a must-see!
Chef Hugo :): According to many the hottest restaurant to be, and for quite a while already. Enjoy young top chefs creating amazing food for an affordable price, in a typical small scale Paris style restaurant. And if it's already fully booked (most of the time), try Frenchie Wine bar next door or the Frenchie Takeaway during lunchtime.
Chef Hugo :): For one of the oldest brands in Paris, visit Ladurée on Champs-Élysées. Stand the line but once inside you can choose from 25 different Macaron flavours, one more delicious then the others... And you can take out to your hotel room as well of course.
Chef Hugo :): Armenians like éclairs, che? Well, try this shop for a change, where éclairs have been transformed into an art. The salted caramel one or the passion fruit version is the one I usually go for. Nice extra: this shop of L'Éclair de Génie (which means: the eclair of the genius) is in the middle of the Marais neighbourhood, which is my favourite in Paris. Walk from the Hotel de Ville to this shop and you'll see why. Chef Hugo :): Every time I visit Paris, I stop by this church of churches. My mom once prayed here to become pregnant of me, we did to become mom and dad of our two boys... So this place has a magic haha. Take the subway to Anvers and walk north up the stairs till you get to the church. From there, enjoy the view over the whole city, live music... And then submerge yourself into the quietness of the beautiful church. Afterwards, walk around the church on the left and find yourself in the middle of Montmartre, the "village" within Paris with all the painters and small cafés with their terraces.
