Since Actuality Entertainment's launch, the company has created innovative concepts in business recruitment efforts targeting talented, driven sales representatives. A subsidiary of Firstline Security, Actuality Entertainment sprang from an executive directive to create a cost-effective, sustainable recruiting program that would appeal to younger professionals and at the same time set Firstline apart from its competitors. As a result, Firstline’s Chief Marketing Officer Bryan Ferre developed the idea for The Prodigy, a reality television series that focused on the recruitment, training, and professional growth of contestants selected to sell Firstline Security’s line of business security solutions. Though The Prodigy never aired, Actuality Entertainment’s camera crews filmed dozens of hours of footage that followed the rise of several young salespersons working for Firstline.
